Series -Bare Nere, Nere : A breadwinner’s ship (Once upon a time)

This series is stylistically and structurally experimental, stemming from a desire to invoke the spirits deep within, those of our forefathers, as a means to seek peace and ask for guidance rooted in African knowledge system. With this series I metaphorically imagine myself geared up in an Afrofuturist Identity in space and time, taking a psychological and spiritual journey of life in the metaverse. This piece BOTENG (Insight) displays a child taking a playful tour into his imagination recognizing both his identity and his difference.
