In his series Oddballs and Mischief Makers Goedhart delights in shedding some limelight upon animals who have been historically snubbed in the public eye. This is due to their less than perfect appearances, unsavory temperaments, and outlandishly, obnoxious behaviour. What they may lack in grace and cuteness is more than atoned for by their intoxicating strangeness and joie de vivre.
